Senator Trump moved to amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting therefor a new title, to read as follows:

Eng. House Bill 2372—A BILL to amend and reenact §3-8-5e of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to modifying the date to file pre-candidacy registration papers, receive contributions, and make expenditures for persons undertaking to determine the advisability of becoming or preparing to be a candidate for a public office or position.
